Trauma & Fracture Care

Overview

What this covers

Dr. Hannan's trauma practice grew out of extensive emergency and elective surgical training during residency at King Edward Medical University and Mayo Hospital — one of Lahore's largest tertiary trauma centres — and continues as part of his ongoing independent surgical practice at Life Line Hospital and Naseer Hospital. His experience covers a wide range of fracture types, from simple stable fractures managed with casting to complex peri-articular fractures requiring plate fixation or intramedullary nailing.

Who it's for

Patients with acute fractures from falls, road traffic accidents or sports injuries, as well as delayed presentations that need surgical fixation.

What to expect

  • Clinical assessment and X-ray review of the injury
  • Discussion of fixation options — plate fixation, intramedullary nailing, external fixator, or casting — suited to the fracture type
  • Surgical planning and scheduling where surgery is needed
  • Post-operative follow-up and rehabilitation guidance
